1. PURPOSE
 - This program intends to provide non-Koreans with the preliminary education in terms of Korean language as well as academic ability, who have plans to receive tertiary-level education in South Korea
 - This program also provides non-Korean students with a customized counseling on academic and cultural matters so that they can achieve satisfactory academic results and properly deal with cultural differences while staying in South Korea

2. SIFP Admission

•  Admission Procedure

 - Application Period : November 1 st to February 28th
 - Whole procedure including Interviews for applicants finishes by February 28th
   (Interviews for applicants are conducted in their home country by Admission Dep. staffs)

•  Expectable Applicants

 - Non-Koreans with plans to study at tertiary level (Degree in Bachelor or Master) in Korea

•  Entry Qualification

 - Completed the secondary-level education in a certified institute prior to an application

 - Proficiency in Korean being comparable with 2nd or higher level of S-TOPIK

 
3. SIFP Overview

•  SIFP consists of two semesters which include two sessions respectively.

•  SIFP Starts : March

   Ends : February
    (52 weeks in total including 4 weeks for Test and 2 weeks for Break)

•  The Maximum population of students per class : 50

•  Class hour : Everyday 10am to 12pm & 1pm to 3pm

    (Six-days class a week in 1st semester, Five-days class a week in 2nd semester)

•  Class Hour in total through two semesters : 1040 hours

•  Type of Classes : Lecture, Discussion and Field trip
